As one of the authors, Combiteq is proud to present together with Nexans, at this year’s ISOPE 2024 in Rhodos, a paper that describes a mechanical test rig, which is built to determine the structural and material damping in axially tensioned subsea power cables and umbilicals, during both high frequency oscillations and low frequency wave frequencies.
